Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara has invited UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the opening ceremony of the UAE Embassy in Ukraine, the information policy department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.
Kozhara announced the invitation at a meeting in New York on Tuesday.
"Minister Kozhara praised the UAE government's decision soon to open the embassy in Ukraine and invited the UAE foreign minister to make an official visit to Ukraine to participate in the ceremony of its opening. The invitation was accepted with gratitude," reads the statement.
The ministers also noted the intensification of political dialog between the two countries at the top level and the strengthening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The UAE Embassy in Ukraine will open by the end of 2013
