Stavytsky: Ukraine hopes to agree on reverse gas supplies with Slovakia and Romania this autumn
Ukraine hopes to sign an agreement on reverse gas supplies through Slovakia and Romania in September-October this year, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky has said.
"I'm confident that an agreement will be signed with our partners from Slovakia in September, and in October we hope to sign an agreement with Romania," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Stavytsky also said that there were no claims from Russia regarding reverse gas supplies from Europe to Ukraine.
"There were and there can be no claims," he said.
