Yanukovych greets participants of 10th World Congress of Ukrainians
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has greeted the participants of the 10th World Congress of Ukrainians, which will be held in Lviv on August 20-22.
Yanukovych praised the activities of associations of Ukrainians around the world aimed at developing a free and sovereign Ukraine, the preservation of national and cultural identity and traditions of the nation, the president's press service reported on Tuesday.
"Today, it is particularly important to attract your potential to carry out economic reforms, bring to life European aspirations of our state, and together to immortalize memorable dates of the Ukrainian history," the president said.
The tenth World Congress of Ukrainians will be held on August 20-22, in Lviv Polytechnic National University under a motto "Contra spem spero".
