Ukrainian premier back from vacation, sets to work
Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has come back from vacation, the premier's spokesman, Vitaliy Lukyanenko, told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The prime minister has come back from vacation and returned to work today," Lukyanenko said on Monday morning.
In the premier's absence, Ukraine's Deputy Premier Serhiy Arbuzov chaired the Cabinet's meetings, but the decisions adopted at those meetings have not been published on the Cabinet's Web site, as the premier still had to sign them.
According to Lukyanenko, all the decisions taken at government meetings during Azarov's vacation will soon be signed by the prime minister.
As reported, Azarov went on a three-week vacation on July 15 and his duties were performed by First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, who held three government meetings on July 17 and 24 and on August 1.
