Yanukovych congratulates Israeli President Peres on his 90th birthday

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated President of Israel Shimon Peres on his 90th birthday.

"Ukraine appreciates your personal contribution to the development of friendly and partnership relations between Ukraine and the State of Israel. I am sure that the Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation will continue to deepen and develop dynamically for the benefit of the peoples of our countries," Yanukovych's press office quoted his greeting on Friday.

"Your tireless efforts and achievements in life, which are aimed at strengthening the authority of Israel in the international arena and improving the welfare of its citizens, can serve as a good example for future generations," the Ukrainian president said.
