No Ukrainians among victims of Sunday's bus crash in Italy, says Foreign Ministry
No Ukrainian citizens are among those injured or killed when a tourist bus plunged into a ravine in Italy on Sunday, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has reported quoting preliminary information.
"The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is still making inquiries. However, according to preliminary information, there are no Ukrainian citizens among those injured and killed in this accident," the Foreign Ministry's press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
At least 38 people were killed in southern Italy when a coach carrying pilgrims hit several vehicles and went off a viaduct near the town of Avellino, in the Campania region, on Sunday, the BBC reported. Eleven people, including some in a grave condition, were taken to hospital.
According to preliminary information, the coach was taking people, including children, back to Naples from a pilgrimage.
