Ukraine's Foreign Ministry has said that according to preliminary data there are no Ukrainian citizens among those killed and injured in the fatal derailment of a passenger train in Spain.
"According to preliminary data of the Ukrainian Embassy in Spain, there are no citizens of Ukraine there," director of the ministry's information policy department, Yevhen Perebyinis, told Interfax-Ukraine.
He added that diplomats continue checking this information.
A train derailed in north-western Spain on July 24, killing at least 77 and injuring 143 of its more than 200 passengers.
