Italian Superbike racer killed in accident near Moscow
Three motorcycle racers were injured in a collision at a Superbike event outside Volokolamsk near Moscow on Sunday, and one of them died after the accident, a Moscow regional police spokesman has reported.
"Three racers were injured in a collision, and one of them, an Italian, died of the injuries suffered," he said.
The Russian round of the Superbike World Championship was held in the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region on July 21.
