Yanukovych congratulates footballer and coach Buriak on his birthday

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has congratulated Ukraine's honored coach and master of sport Leonid Buriak on his 60th birthday.

"Dear Leonid Yosypovych [Buriak], I sincerely congratulate you on your 60th birthday. I am sure that your hard work, professional playing and coaching experience will always be an inexhaustible source of vitality and inspiration in educating the younger generation and developing football in Ukraine. I wish you happiness, good health and concord," Yanukovych said in a message of congratulations posted on the Web site of the head of state on Wednesday.

Buriak is a Soviet footballer and coach. He earlier played for Dynamo Kyiv and the Soviet national team and worked as Ukraine coach.

As reported, on July 10, Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk veterans will play a match to mark Buriak's 60th birthday at the Dynamo Stadium.
