Ingushetian president survives assassination attempt, 3 bodyguards die, says source
NAZRAN. June 22 (Interfax) - President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has been wounded as a result of the Monday morning bombing of his motorcade in Nazran, at least three of his bodyguards died, a source at the Ingushetian Interior Ministry has told Interfax.
"The president was slightly wounded by the blast of a powerful explosive device planted in the roadside. His life is out of danger. Early reports indicate that at least three of his bodyguards died," the source said.
