Komorowski: Visegrad Group to urge EU to note Ukraine's progress on European integration path
Leaders of the Visegrad Four countries strongly support the European aspirations of Ukraine, President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski has said.
"Visegrad Group is three immediate neighbor of Ukraine, who are very interested in Ukraine's being a success on this very difficult path," he said at a news conference after the summit of the presidents of the Visegrad Group in Wisla (Poland).
"We fully support the integration, and we wish and urge Ukraine to make every effort to remove barriers on this path," Komorowski said.
He also added that the Visegrad Group will also urge the EU to note the progress Ukraine has made on the path to the European integration. In particular, he said that he was speaking about the Vilnius summit, scheduled for the end of November 2013.
