The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will open its third session on September 3, 2013 and will close it on January 17, 2014.
A total of 322 out of the 404 lawmakers registered in the hall voted on Thursday to approve its calendar, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
According to the calendar, the Verkhovna Rada will have nine weeks of plenary sittings and nine hours of questions to the government. For seven weeks MPs will work in committees and factions, and for four weeks in constituencies with their voters.
Before voting, MPs made changes to the proposed plan and replaced plenary sittings on January 14-17 by work in constituencies.
