Yanukovych met with delegations of American Indian chiefs

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has met with leader of the American Indian Lakota (Sioux) Joseph Brings Plenty and spiritual leader of the tribe of Hawaii Kauilani Kahalekai.

The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Spiritual Diplomacy Foundation (the U.S.), Mikhail Morgulis, the president's press service reported.

During the visit to Ukraine, the leaders of Indian tribes plan to hold a series of meetings with politicians and government officials, the press service said.
