German doctors not coming to Tymoshenko on Thursday for technical reasons, says defense counsel
Doctors from the Berlin-based Charite clinic will not arrive on Thursday at Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 in Kharkiv, where the convicted former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is undergoing treatment, the ex-premier's defense counsel, Andriy Kozhemiakin, has said.
"There is some technical problem. They [the doctors] even got on the plane, but the plane did not take off," he told reporters in Kharkiv on Thursday.
The lawyer could not say which of the doctors were to come to Tymoshenko, and when the visit would take place.
Kozhemiakin said that the Ukrainian doctors had already gathered at the hospital, which means that they had some serious plans.
