Rada fails to support bill on denunciation of Kharkiv accords on Black Sea Fleet basing in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada has failed to pass a bill on the denunciation of the agreement between Ukraine and Russia on the Black Sea Fleet's basing on the Ukrainian territory.
A total of 152 out of 386 MPs registered in the session hall voted for the bill at first reading.
The bill was supported by three MPs of the Party of Regions, 71 of the Batkivschyna faction, 34 of the UDAR faction, 33 of the Svoboda faction, and eleven independent MPs. None of the Communist Party lawmakers voted for the bill.
