Foreign Ministry: Another group of Ukrainians to be evacuated from Syria on Tuesday
A total of 24 Ukrainians and four Syrians will be evacuated from Syria to Ukraine on Tuesday, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"In the context of ensuring the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Syria, 24 citizens of Ukraine and four Syrians - members of the families of our compatriots, are to be brought home on June 11 this year by a flight of Ukrainian-Mediterranean Airlines on the Beirut-Kyiv route," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing on Tuesday.
He said that the evacuees are expected to arrive at Boryspil Airport at about 2000.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Ukraine has already evacuated more than 600 Ukrainian citizens from Syria.
