Some Kyiv-Paris flights for June 11-12 canceled due to strike of French air traffic controllers
Some flights to and from Boryspil International Airport to Paris have been canceled due to a strike of French air traffic controllers, the airport's press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the online arrivals and departures information at the airport, a flight to Paris scheduled for 1230 and a flight that arrives from Paris at 1140 on June 11, 2013 were canceled.
A plane that departed at 0940 from Kyiv to Paris performed its flight. There is no data on the performance of flights to Paris at 1745 and from Paris at 1650.
A flight from Paris scheduled for 1650 and a flight to Paris scheduled for 1745 on June 12, 2013 are canceled.
Around 1,800 flights were canceled due to a strike of French air traffic controllers.
Air traffic controllers in France on Tuesday began a three-day strike to protest European Union plans for the liberalization of the civil aviation sphere.
