Kozhara: UAE, Qatar to open embassies in Kyiv this year
The embassies of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar are to open in Ukraine in 2013, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara has said.
"The embassies of the UAE and Qatar are expected to open in Kyiv this year," he said at a meeting with the ambassadors of African, Latin American and Middle Eastern countries in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said he was confident that the expansion of the diplomatic presence of the Persian Gulf countries in Ukraine would give a new impetus to the development of relations between Ukraine and the countries of the region.
