EU ambassador doubts Association Agreement could be signed in November if Tymoshenko issue is not resolved
Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski has said that there is currently no guarantee that the Association Agreement will be signed with Ukraine, as Kyiv has not yet fulfilled all of the necessary conditions.
"I doubt [that the agreement can be signed, as the issue of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko means a lot for many countries," he said on Thursday at an expert forum "Ukraine 2013. Agenda" organized by the Gorshenin Institute.
The diplomat said that the signing of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine cannot be guaranteed, as the European side expects the situation to change in the field of selective justice.
