Speaker of lower house of Indian parliament to visit Ukraine on May 23-26
The speaker of the lower house of the Indian parliament, Meira Kumar, is to visit Ukraine on May 23-26 this year, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"During her visit, Meira Kumar will be received by the senior leadership of our state. The sides will discuss the current state and prospects for the development of relations of the comprehensive partnership between Ukraine and India, as enshrined in a statement made during the Ukrainian president's state visit to India in December 2012," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing on Tuesday.
He said the program of the visit also foresees a visit by the Indian delegation to the city of Lviv.
