Femen activists protesting against Barbie House opening in Berlin

Activists of the Femen movement have staged a protest at the opening of the House of Barbie in Berlin, local media reported on Thursday.

The half-naked women had "Life in Plastic is not Fantastic" inscribed on their bodies.

Shortly after the action started, the Femen activists were detained by the police.

The construction of the so-called Barbie House is coming to an end on Alexander Platz in the center of Berlin.
