Foreign Ministry advises Ukrainians to refrain from visiting Libya
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has again advised Ukrainians to refrain from visiting Libya due to the security situation in the country.
"Due to a terrorist attack that occurred near the central hospital in the city of Benghazi on May 13 this year, which led to a significant number of casualties and injuries to civilians, the Foreign Ministry resumes its recommendation for Ukrainian citizens to refrain from visiting Libya until the security situation stabilizes in the country," Acting Director of the Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing on Wednesday.
He added that according to the Foreign Ministry, there were no Ukrainians among the victims of the attack.
