Murder suspect escapes from Moscow remand center

Moscow police are searching for a murder suspect who has escaped from the city's Matrosskaya Tishina remand center, a Moscow police spokesman told Interfax.

"A man who was remanded into custody on suspicion of murder and illegal possession of weapons escaped from the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention facility on Tuesday," he said.
