Batkivschyna wants international sanctions on those involved in proceedings against Tymoshenko
Ukrainian opposition campaigners will turn to international and European agencies to demand that international sanctions be applied to Deputy Prosecutors General Renat Kuzmin and Lilia Frolova, and Judge Rodion Kireyev of the Pechersky District Court in Kyiv.
"Our political force will turn to the European Court, European Union and international community to demand that personal sanctions be applied to Deputy Prosecutors General Renat Kuzmin and Lilia Frolova, and Judge Rodion Kireyev," a leader of the Batkivschyna Party, lawmaker Mykola Tomenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"I hope this will be done urgently," he said.
