President signs decrees aimed at strengthening economization of Ukraine's foreign policy, says official
The signing of the decrees on the State Commission for Cooperation with the WTO and on Ukraine's representative to the WTO will strengthen the economic aspect of the country's foreign policy.
"The principal aim of the decrees is to continue and to some extent strengthen the economization of our foreign policy," adviser to the president of Ukraine - head of the Main Department for Foreign Relations at the presidential administration Andriy Honcharuk said at a briefing on Wednesday.
The president's advisor said that in such a way they made an emphasis is on the need to continue coordination and strengthening of the foreign policy of Ukraine.
He also noted that a high share in the country's GDP comes from exports.
"Therefore, it is clear that convenient conditions for our producers and their ability to sell their products largely depend on the state of the external market and most importantly on the existing arrangements to promote our products to foreign markets," Honcharuk added.
