Some EU countries express interest Ukraine's underground gas storage facilities, says energy minister
Kyiv is holding negotiations with Poland, Hungary, Italy, Germany and other European countries about the use of Ukraine's underground gas storage facilities by these countries, Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky has said.
"Poland is interested in storing natural gas in our facilities, in order to influence the pricing policy in the country. Not only Poland but also Hungary, Italy, Germany and other EU member states have expressed interest in our underground storage facilities," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
