Bodies of two miners found at Donetsk region mine, search for third one continues, says mining supervision service
Rescuers have found the bodies of two miners, who were trapped under the rubbles at the Chaikyne coal mine run by Makyivvuhillia state enterprise, Interfax-Ukraine learned at the press service of the local branch of the State Service of Mining Supervision and Industrial Safety in Donetsk region on Monday morning.
"At 0615 the bodies of two of the three miners trapped in the cave-in were found, the fate of the remaining one is still unknown," the press service said.
The accident occurred at 16.59 on Sunday, there were nine pitmen at the site. Six of them got to the surface without assistance.
