Rada speaker to attend meeting of CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly in St. Petersburg
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak on April 11-12 will pay an official visit to St. Petersburg to attend a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).
As the press service of Verkhovna Rada reported on Wednesday, Rybak will participate in the sitting of the IPA CIS Council and will deliver a speech to the participants of the conference, entitled "The Role of Parliaments in Building a Europe Without Dividing Lines."
During the visit, Rybak is scheduled to meet with Chairman of the Russia's State Duma Sergey Naryshkin; Head of the Russia's Federation Council Valentina Matvienko; and Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin.
