President's administration reports progress in obtaining Schengen visas by Ukrainians
There has been progress in the ease by which Ukrainians can obtain Schengen visas over the last two years, according to the president's administration.
"The dynamics of issuing and obtaining visas in 2011 and 2012 were positive. While in 2011 Ukrainians obtained about 1.1 million Schengen visas, in 2012 there were 8,000 visas more issued," head of the main department for international relations at the presidential administration Andriy Honcharuk said during a briefing on Tuesday.
He also predicted an increase in the number of registered long-term and multiple visas for Ukrainians.
