The opposition has said that a protest in Kyiv will be held on Sunday, April 7.
"We [the leaders of three opposition factions] consulted and decided not to postpone a rally in Zhytomyr [on Saturday, April 6], because we've already called on people to join our campaign, and we'll hold a rally in Kyiv on Sunday," deputy head of the UDAR faction Vitaliy Kovalchuk said.
On March 14, the opposition began a two-month campaign "Rise, Ukraine!" and one of its goals is the resignation of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. The event was expected to end in Kyiv on May 18.
