Public prosecutor asks Higher Specialized Court to uphold Lutsenko's verdict
Judges of the Higher Specialized Court on Civil and Criminal Cases at 1500 on Wednesday will announce a decision on an appeal by former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko against he conviction for official crimes, for which he is serving a sentence at Mena penal colony (Chernihiv region).
As a correspondent of Interfax-Ukraine reported, after a speech by Public Prosecutor Mykola Kurapov, Judge Serhiy Slynko announced that the court would withdraw to the deliberation room to make a ruling, and that it would be announced in an hour.
