No reasons for Russia's anxiety regarding reverse gas supplies to Ukraine from Europe, says minister
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky has said there are no reasons for Russia to be anxious over the reverse supplies of gas to Ukraine from Europe.
"I don't want to comment on statement of our colleagues regarding various slurs, legality or illegality. As far as I understand, when you go to a shop and buy food, then those who sell you it have no reason to be interested in whom you will eat it with," he said at the press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"Our Russian colleagues sent us an inquiry regarding this. We answered them. I see no reason for anxiety," the minister said.
However, Stavytsky again claimed that Ukraine is fulfilling all of Russia's conditions on gas transit to Europe, and hopes to come to an agreement on reconsidering the gas price for Ukraine.
