Yatseniuk wants MPs to consider vote of no confidence in Azarov's government on Friday
Batkivschyna faction leader Arseniy Yatseniuk has proposed considering a vote of no confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers led by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on Friday, after the hour of questions for the government.
"We sent you the letters regarding the agenda [for the current week]. I'm not planning to repeat what bills were submitted, but we should not forget about the vote of no confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers," he told Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak at a meeting of the parliament's conciliatory council on Monday.
"I remind you that this resolution has been submitted. It was supported by three opposition factions. These are 174 MPs, and 173 signatures were verified. The deadline for consideration is ten days. The committee on rules of procedure should consider this, and then, on Friday, we, after the hour of questions for the government, would immediately dismiss the government, and everything would be fine," Yatseniuk said.
