Storm, avalanche danger warning announced in Ivano-Frankivsk region

A storm warning has been issued in Ivano-Frankivsk region for Thursday, the Main Department of the State Emergency Situations Service in Ivano-Frankivsk region reported.

On March 28, the regional and municipal roads will remain icy, the press service said.

There is a danger of avalanches in the mountains in Ivano-Frankivsk region due to snowfall.

The Ukrainian Weather Center expects snow and sleet in the afternoon of March 28 in the Carpathians. In western Ukraine temperatures will fall from -8 to -13 degrees Celsius at night, and from -2 to +3 during daytime.
