Opposition collects 174 signatures for resolution on no-confidence in government, says Yatseniuk
A total of 174 parliamentarians have put their signatures to a resolution calling for the Ukrainian government's resignation, and the opposition intends to register the document at the Verkhovna Rada, the leader of the Batkivschyna parliamentary faction, Arseniy Yatseniuk, has said.
"We have collected 174 signatures and we will register a resolution on no-confidence in the government," he said on Thursday.
Yatseniuk also called on the Communist Party faction to sign the resolution.
As reported, on February 27, 2013, the parliamentary opposition started collecting signatures under the resolution on no-confidence in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to consider the issue at a parliamentary sitting as soon as possible.
