Ukrainian PM orders his deputy to speed up work on road construction program
Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has instructed Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul to speed up the development of the country's road construction program.
"I charge Deputy Prime Minister Vilkul with speeding up the development of a long-term program for the construction of motor roads with clearly defined priorities, which will meet the current requirements, as well as calculations for the provision of resources for the construction," he said.
According to Azarov, the program should provide the measures to maintain the existing road network, improve the quality of repairs of roads, envisage the construction of new roads, and reform state management of the roads.
