Klitschko wants opposition members to head Interior Ministry, SBU, PGO

The leader of the UDAR parliamentary faction, Vitali Klitschko, has demanded that members of the opposition political forces lead Ukraine's Interior Ministry, Security Service (SBU), and Prosecutor General's Office (PGO).

In addition, the faction demands that pension reform be cancelled and a fair pension system be introduced.

"We demand that the mechanism of everyday humiliation of people be destroyed. Opposition representatives should head the PGO, Interior Ministry and SBU for this," Klitschko told a Thursday press briefing.

He also said that all judges of the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine must be dismissed and new judges of the Constitutional Court have to be appointed.

The UDAR faction also called on the authorities to stop political oppression and release political prisoners.

Klitschko also said that on Thursday at a meeting with Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Rybak that the oppositionist demanded that the speaker organize a meeting of the parliamentarians with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
