Canada to open two visa centers in Ukraine in 2013, Canadian minister says
Canada will open two visa centers in Ukraine in 2013 - in Kyiv and Lviv, Canadian Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney has said.
"This year we will open two visa centers, in Kyiv and Lviv, which will help facilitate the process of obtaining Canadian visas for Ukrainians," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
Kenney said that Canada issued a record number of visas to Ukrainians in 2012.
"Canada issued a record 9,000 guest visas to Ukrainians in 2012, which was 67% more than in 2004," he said.
