State Penitentiary Service: Tymoshenko does not want to meet with MPs who arrived at hospital
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has refused to meet with Batkivschyna Party MPs Arseniy Yatseniuk, Hryhoriy Nemyria and Serhiy Pashynsky, who arrived at Ukrzaliznytsia's Central Clinical Hospital No. 5 to meet with the prisoner, the State Penitentiary Service reported on Friday.
Since the law envisages the possibility of one short meeting per month between the prisoner and no more than three people and lasting no more than four hours, the leadership of Kachanivska Penal Colony permitted such a meeting.
In this connection, Tymoshenko was asked to go to a specially equipped room for meetings with visitors, but she refused to meet with the MPs.
At the same time, the service said that if the ex-premier changes her mind, she would be able to meet with the MPs.
