Regions Party sees light at end of tunnel in talks on unblocking parliament
Head of the Regions Party parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov has said he hopes that the parliament will be successfully unblocked soon.
"We've achieved progress in the talks… We can see light at the end of the tunnel," the MP told journalists on Tuesday, when asked about results of the talks between the factions in the unblocking of the parliament.
Asked whether the parliament could resume its work on Wednesday, Yefremov said: "Maybe - the talks continue."
As reported, the members of the Batkivschyna, UDAR and Svoboda parliamentary factions have been blocking the rostrum and presidium of the Verkhovna Rada since February 5, 2013. UDAR faction MPs have been occupying the sitting hall around the clock since February 5.
