Ukrainian, Turkmen presidents holding tete-a-tete meeting
A tete-e-tete meeting of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is taking place in Ashgabat.
The meeting will be followed by extended Turkmen-Ukrainian talks chaired by the two presidents, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
The Ukrainian delegation includes Foreign Affairs Minister Leonid Kozhara, Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boiko, Defense Minister Pavlo Lebedev, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky, Education and Science, Youth and Sports Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk.
Yanukovych is on a state visit to Turkmenistan on February 12-14.
