Foreign Ministry says it did not receive 19 demands from EU to Ukraine, media point to last year's decision of EU Council of Ministers
Ukraine has not received any official document from the EU with 19 demands needed for the signing of the Association Agreement, as some media reported, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has said.
"Nobody, at least officially, passed any document to Ukraine that includes 19 demands, as the media reported," Acting Director of the Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department Yevhen Perebyinis said at a briefing on Tuesday, while answering a question from Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that, perhaps, the issue concerns the EU Council of Ministers' decision of December 10, in which, in fact, all of the demands reported by the media were set out without any numbering.
