Kyiv City Council reschedules sitting for Friday

Kyiv City Council has postponed a sitting, during which it planned to pass the capital's budget for 2013, until Friday, February 8.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine reporter, Secretary of Kyiv City Council Halyna Hereha announced such a decision following an attempt of activists of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Association to break into the sitting hall.

The secretary stressed that it is impossible to hold the sitting in such conditions.
