Ukrainian foreign minister to make two-day visit to Brussels
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara will leave on a two-day visit to Brussels on Wednesday, Acting Director of the Foreign Ministry's Information Policy Department Yevhen Perebyinis has said.
"On January 30-31, 2013 Foreign Minister Kozhara will make his first visit to EU institutions," – he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said that the program of the minister's visit includes meetings with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, as well as meetings with EU commissioners for energy and home affairs.
Preparations for the EU-Ukraine summit and the priorities of bilateral cooperation in the near future will be discussed during the visit.
