24 Ukrainian nationals to be evacuated from Syria soon
Twenty-four Ukrainian nationals will be evacuated from Syria soon, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.
"Tentatively, 24 Ukrainian citizens are likely to be repatriated to Ukraine," the Foreign Ministry's spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said the Ukrainians want to leave Syria given the current unrest.
About 500 Ukrainian nationals remain in Syria to date, he said.
