Over 180,000 tourists travel to Lviv for New Year's and Christmas holidays
Over 180,000 tourists traveled to Lviv to celebrate the New Year's and Christmas holidays, the press service of Lviv City Council reported referring to its tourism department head Nadia Radionenko.
According to her, this was 20% more year-over-year.
She also said that the number of tourists from Russia grew compared to previous years.
"First of all, people from other regions of Ukraine came to us: from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Crimea. Russia was second according to information from hotels and tourism operators. A relatively large number were tourists from Poland, Germany and Belarus. These are the countries that are still our target markets," Radionova added.
