The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's government, has dismissed Ihor Prasolov as an MP in connection with his appointment as minister of economic development and trade.
Some 229 MPs supported this decision at a sitting on Friday.
As reported, on January 10 the parliament failed to vote to dismiss Prasolov as an MP.
In December 2012, the Ukrainian president appointed NBU Governor Serhiy Arbuzov to the post of first deputy prime minister and Head of the NBU Council Ihor Prasolov as the minister of economic development and trade.
