Nikolayenko appointed as new Kirovohrad regional governor
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed Andriy Nikolayenko as the head of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.
A relevant decree was published on the Web site of the president on Wednesday.
Prior to the appointment, Nikolayenko served as the first deputy head of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.
Yanukovych earlier today dismissed Serhiy Larin from the post of head of the administration.
Nikolaenko, born in 1979, worked as the deputy head of the foreign policy and international cooperation department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and as the head of the sector for the support of promising projects of cooperation with the countries of the Asian-Pacific region in 2009-2019.
From July 2010 until March 2011, he served as the deputy head of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration. On March 3, 2011, he was appointed as the first deputy head of the administration.
