Ukraine's Ambassador to Cuba Tetiana Sayenko dies, says Foreign Ministry
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has reported that Ukraine's Ambassador to Cuba Tetiana Sayenko died on January 7, 2013.
"Sayenko dedicated 20 years of her life to work for the diplomatic service of Ukraine. While heading Ukraine's diplomatic mission in the Republic of Cuba, she made an important personal contribution in the development of relations between Ukraine and Cuba in the spheres of politics, trade, economy, culture, as well as social sphere," reads a posting on the ministry's Web site.
Employees of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry offered their condolence to the diplomat's relatives and friends.
