Yanukovych hopes to sign Association Agreement with EU in 2013
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that there everything necessary has been done for the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU in 2013.
"The key goal of our foreign policy is to hold the chairmanship of Ukraine in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe successfully and honorably. I also hope that 2013 will be the year of signing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, everything necessary has been done for this," Yanukovych said in an interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda v Ukraine newspaper published on Friday.
The head of state stressed that Ukraine would be developing a close partnership with the Customs Union and other regional organizations.
"I believe that the Ukrainian people will show their unity in achieving these goals," the president concluded.
